By Authority of Friends of M.C. Keegan-Ayer, Don Butt, Jr. Treasurer.
Former Congresswoman 6th Congressional District Maryland
I have known and worked with M.C. for many years. I even hired her to work for me in my campaign office. Her knowledge of the Charter, our new form of Frederick County government, is outstanding. As a resident of District 3, I feel fortunate, and we will all be lucky to have her re-elected for 4 more years.
Frederick County Executive
M.C. Keegan-Ayer gets things done!
M.C. has demonstrated strong leadership as President of the County Council ensuring great schools, safe communities, and open
government. M.C. reaches out and talks with everyone, hears and listens to all
sides, and works to build consensus.
M.C. is a true leader.
Former Delegate from State Legislative District 3 in Annapolis.
MC Keegan-Ayer, proven and dedicated community leader, is my clear choice for Frederick County Council, District 3. As Frederick continues to grow, MC’s “hands on” experience and knowledge of our business and community needs are critical in managing our future. She works collaboratively with residents, community groups, and local, state and national public servants to continue bringing positive results for Frederick. If you want to get something done, vote for MC Keegan-Ayer!
Owner, Menocal Family Practice
Over the past 8 years, MC Keegan-Ayer has been a tireless champion for the citizens of the Golden Mile in Frederick City. She has brought great enhancement to the children’s access to schooling and well-being on Route 40.
She has maintained the level of FARM recipients in our schools. She has helped decrease the Scholastic Achievement Gap for Hispanic Children on the Golden Mile by increasing access to Wi-Fi and E-Tablets. She has stood up against state, federal, and local efforts to negatively impact Hispanics. Most notably she stood up against a previous County Leadership effort to have the schools document the country of origin of their parents. She did this BEFORE she was elected to the County Council.
She has also collaborated with Hispanic businesses in our unending efforts to increase the appeal of Frederick County to Hispanic Resident and Hispanic Businesses.
She stood by my practice’s side when we requested access to Covid Vaccines for Hispanics members of our communities. Her, and other political leaders at the state and federal level , as well as our courageous Public Health Officialsl may have stopped what would have been a disastrous mortality rate in our local pandemic.
Frederick County , as well is the county in the State of Maryland who had the highest percentage of their population have Hispanic representation in the Covid vaccination Tallies ( 12.1 %).
Silently and courageously she helped stem the tide of anti-Hispanic sentiment in our community.
She represented our side well , and always interacted with other Hispanic community Leaders.
Myrna Whitworth
Former President of the Frederick County Democratic Central Committee
In the past eight years, MC has been key in supporting education, upgrading facilities, saving Citizens and Montevue, and spearheading Livable Frederick. She has been in the forefront of advancing diversity and inclusion in the county. She doesn’t just talk about changes that need to be made, she knows how to get things done, how to work across the aisle to improve the lives of all the citizens of her district and the county. We cannot let Michael Hough and his cronies reverse the progress that has been made over the past eight years. We need MC Keegan Ayer on the County Council.
